[ The feed starts with a view of the pavement. There's a lot of voices, a chaotic scene of panic that's just out of view. People shouting, asking if he's alright, if the other person is alright. He's trying to get up, but someone keeps guiding him back down. The feed is unsteady, and a view of the bike, on its side, keeps coming into focus. It's off the edge of the road, up against a building, and there's a person near it. Several, actually, most of them natives, but one in particular is Joscelin, and the natives seem to be trying to keep him seated there on the ground until medical help comes along. ]

What . . . what happened? [ Dirk's voice, easy to identify to anyone who knows him. He's the one holding the device, and it catches the voice of a native, trying to explain that there was an accident, but Dirk doesn't seem to understand. He keeps trying to get up and the feed goes dark as he presses the device against the pavement, but there's a groan, and he simply rolls onto his side. His roughed up ribs had been healed for the most part. They weren't doing so well now. He makes a noise that sounds more panicked than pained though. ]

I can't see anything . . . why . . . why can't I see anything?!

[Joscelin is just as uncooperative as Dirk, pushing away the natives who are trying to keep him seated. When he tries to stand up, though, he ends up back on the ground immediately.]
